What Is the Auric Field?
The auric field, or aura, is an invisible energy field that surrounds every living being. It’s made of subtle energy that flows in, through, and around the body, much like an atmosphere of light. Although you can’t usually see it with your physical eyes, many sensitive people can feel it—or even perceive its colours and patterns.
What Does the Aura Do?
The aura acts like a spiritual shield and a sensory field. It serves several important functions:
- Protects: It shields you from negative or heavy energies.
- Connects: It receives and sends energy to the environment and other beings.
- Reflects: It mirrors your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual state.
- Informs: It carries intuitive information about you—like a vibrational fingerprint.

Your thoughts, feelings, and health all influence your aura. When you feel joyful or peaceful, your aura expands and brightens. When you’re tired, anxious, or stressed, it can shrink or become cloudy.
How Big Is the Aura?
The aura is not fixed in size—it can expand or contract based on your energy. For most people, the aura extends:

Visualize roots growing from your body into the earth. Let them anchor you.
💫 2. Activate the Inner Light
“Now bring your attention to your heart center—the space in the middle of your chest.
Imagine a small light glowing there. This is your inner light.”
Breathe into this light. With each breath, feel it grow—soft, warm, radiant.
🌈 3. Expand the Aura
“Allow the light to expand outward.
It fills your chest… your body… and begins to shine beyond your skin.”
Visualize your aura as a luminous field surrounding you—perhaps white, gold, or rainbow-colored.
Feel it extend 1 foot… 3 feet… 6 feet in every direction.
You are inside a sphere of light, safe and whole.

“Now, imagine a gentle breeze or waterfall of light flowing through your aura.
It clears away any heaviness, stuck emotions, or tired thoughts.”
Breathe deeply, imagining the flow sweeping away what no longer serves you.
Say quietly or internally:
“I release all that is not mine. I return to my center.”

“Feel your aura smooth out and glow with harmony.
It pulses gently with your breath, alive and balanced.”
Affirm:
“My energy is clear. My field is strong. I radiate light.”
Let yourself rest in this space. Feel the subtle vibration of your presence.

When you’re ready, draw your awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your fingers and toes. Open your eyes slowly.
Stay quiet for a moment, sensing the spaciousness you’ve created.
